Private label and white label coffee roasting for Florida brands

Musa Coffee roasts and packages coffee under other companies' brands, including custom printed bags, boxes and cups, using Colombian coffee from its own estate and from separated micro-lots.

Your brand on coffee with a traceable origin

Most white label coffee is anonymous by design: the buyer gets a roast profile and a bag, and the origin story stops at the country name. Musa's starting point is the opposite, because the coffee has an address — Finca La Montaña, La Mesa, Cundinamarca, at around 1,800 metres.

For a cafe, a hotel or a retail brand, that means the label can say something specific and defensible: the estate, the altitude, the variety and the process, rather than a generic 100% Colombian claim that every competitor can also make.

Packaging is part of the program

Musa produces custom printed bags, cups and boxes alongside the roast, so a brand launching a coffee line does not have to coordinate a roaster and a packaging supplier who have never spoken to each other.

The practical consequence is that the roast schedule and the packaging lead time are planned together — which is where most first-time private label launches slip.

Who private label actually suits

Private label makes sense when a business already has an audience and wants coffee to carry its name: a cafe group selling retail bags, a hotel or restaurant with an in-room or takeaway program, a gym, a subscription brand, or a retailer building a house line.

It makes less sense as a way to enter the coffee business from zero, because the hard part is rarely the roasting.

Why Musa

The coffee inside a Musa private label bag comes from an estate the company owns and can name — so the label can carry real origin detail instead of a generic country-of-origin claim.

Common questions

What is the difference between private label and white label coffee?
In practice the terms are used interchangeably: a roaster produces the coffee and the buyer sells it under their own brand. Private label sometimes implies a more customised blend or profile, while white label implies an existing product relabelled.
Can we choose the roast profile?
Yes. The profile is developed against the coffee and the use — espresso, filter or both — and then held consistent across production runs.
Do you produce the packaging as well?
Yes. Custom printed bags, cups and boxes are part of the program, planned on the same calendar as the roast.
